MAYDAY! MAYDAY! I am sending you a distress signal because our country is in crisis, and your constituents need you to act.

I own a small business in Traverse City, and the tariffs imposed over the last year are destroying us. Our costs have doubled. Our suppliers can't keep up. We're cutting staff and raising prices, and our customers can't afford it anymore. Main Street is collapsing while Wall Street gets richer.
I'm not asking for a handout. I'm asking you to stop policies that are killing the businesses you claim to support. Small businesses built this country, and right now we're being sacrificed for political theater.

That's why I'm participating in the May 1 general strike. I'm taking action because waiting and hoping hasn't worked. Millions of Americans are doing the same.
