FISA SECTION 702

Section 702 allows the NSA to warrantlessly surveil foreigners abroad, but it hoovers up millions of Americans' communications in the process (emails, texts, calls). The FBI then searches this database without warrants to investigate US citizens. It's a backdoor around the Fourth Amendment: your private messages collected without probable cause, searchable by law enforcement anytime they want.

We have until early June 2026 to let elected officials know not to pass the extension unless there are major reforms that protect American’s from warrantless surveillance, with no loopholes.
